WAKAKIRRI DANCE GROUP
|

This group of wonderful young people make up the school’s dance group and are led by the creative spirit of Miss. Harris and the wonderful choreographic skill of Miss. Williams. They will represent Mount Terry Public School at the performance to be held at the Sydney Entertainment Centre next Tuesday on 16 September.
Behind the dance group is a team of teachers and parents who are managed by Mrs. Dignam, who have done an outstanding job in ensuring the myriad of details involved with this project have been completed.

Without the dedication of all these people the success our dance group is experiencing would not happen. Well done to everyone.

Good luck next Tuesday in the Sydney finals |

Southern Stars
|
Mount Terry students from year 3 and Year 5 were involved in the Southern Stars Performance at the WIN Entertainment Centre.

Our outstanding students displayed their dancing and singing talents in a wonderful show called This Life! All students rehearsed hard and performed brilliantly in four performances. Students were very well behaved amongst 2,800 students from many schools in our region.
We thank all the students for their tremendous efforts over four busy days. Many thanks to parents for supporting our students by paying for costumes, props and bus fares. We appreciate all parents who transported their own students and other performers to these shows. We appreciate the support of Mrs. Swan and Mrs. Baker who gave up their weekend to organize, supervise and prepare props and costumes. All of the parents who attended the performances will no doubt be amazed at the show’s presentation. Our students will remember this as a highlight of their primary school life. Thanks to Mrs. Bailey for her help and support back stage! With appreciation, to all those involved.
Mrs. Clay and Miss. Nourse. |
