Jump Rope for Heart 2008
|

Our school is participating in the Heart Foundation Jump Rope for Heart this year.
Heart Foundation Jump Rope for Heart is an exciting and non-competitive program which encourages children to become active, learn new skills and raise vital funds for cardiovascular research and community health programs. We are proud about helping to save Australian lives by fighting heart disease. Skipping is an excellent way for children to keep fit and healthy.
Over the next few weeks, the students will be learning a range of fun skipping skills and new tricks We will emphasise the importance of regular physical activity, such as skipping, as well as enjoying healthy eating as part of a healthy lifestyle.
At assembly on Monday 7th April Jump Rope for Heart personnel will speak to the students and launch the Jump Rope For Heart program.
In term 2 we will all be busy skipping. Join us and encourage your children to skip at home. |
